When they filmed Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2004, their on-screen relationship blossomed into an off-screen romance, creating a celebrity couple that captured the world’s attention.
“The movie brought us together to do all these crazy things, and I think we discovered this weird friendship and partnership that suddenly emerged… Everything we had with each other, we just found a lot of joy in it together and a lot of real teamwork. We just became kind of a couple,”
Jolie shared candidly.
The partnership flourished for 12 years, resulting in the birth of three adopted children—Maddox, Zahara, and Pax—and three biological children—Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Hoke.
